BBC Northern Student Design Competition: Photos from the BBC shoot of my competition winning fabric being woven and my interview! Not sure if it will be broadcast on TV or just be used for internal archives. I’ve been promised that I can visit Salford when the building opens to see my fabric, as far as I know it’s going onto sofas and office chairs so it will be extremely cool to visit and see the final thing. The fabric is being woven in 2 different qualities - one quite wooly/felty for the sofas, and one quite shiny and you can see the design really well. This one is to cover the office chairs (the one you can see being woven). It’s being made in several colourways as well including black/grey, green and pink!
